Tune what Ava pings you about, when, and how loudly — without losing the ones that matter.
Ava errs toward signal, not noise — but the right balance depends on you. Here's how to tune it.
By default, all three are on. You can turn 🟢 off entirely, dial 🟡 thresholds, and you generally want 🔴 left alone.
/alerts — open the menu
"only red alerts please" — turn off 🟢 and 🟡
"warn me at HF 1.6 not 1.5" — change yellow threshold
"don't ping me about LP positions"
"don't ping me about new approvals under 10k"
"quiet between 11pm and 7am unless red"
If you've linked more than one wallet, each gets its own alert config. Ava prefixes alerts with the wallet alias:
[Main] ⚠️ HF dropped to 1.5 on Aave.
You can also nickname wallets: "call this one 'savings'".
| Action | What it stops | What it leaves | When to use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Snooze | A single thread / alert temporarily | Watching, future alerts, action permissions | "Don't ping me about this one until tomorrow" |
| Pause | All alerts and all actions | The on-chain permission (still valid) | Vacation, focus mode — you'll re-enable in days/weeks |
| Revoke | Everything, including the on-chain permission | Nothing | You're done with Ava (or upgrading to a fresh permission) |
Snooze and Pause are commands in chat (/pause, "snooze this for a day"). Revoke is an on-chain action — see Revoking Access.
Today: Telegram, the primary channel.
On the roadmap: email digests (daily / weekly summary) and webhook delivery (for power users who want to fan alerts into their own tooling). Ava will never require any channel other than Telegram to keep working.
