Terms of Service — Ava Protocol Discord Bot

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the Ava (Agent) Discord bot (the "Bot") operated by Ava Protocol ("we", "us", "our") in the official Ava Protocol Discord server (guild ID 840137038316699648).

By interacting with the Bot you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not interact with the Bot.

1. Eligibility

To interact with the Bot you must:

  • Comply with the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times
  • Meet Discord's minimum age requirement (13 years old, or older where required by local law)
  • Be a member of the official Ava Protocol Discord server

The Bot is not available for installation in any other Discord server, and User Install is disabled.

2. Description of the Service

The Bot supports the Ava Protocol community by providing:

  • A community points and AP token rewards program
  • Invite attribution and referral tracking
  • Slash commands for balance checks, wallet binding, link submissions, and related actions
  • Automated moderation of disallowed links
  • Bug bounty payouts when staff confirm a bug resolution
  • Redemption of AP tokens for USDC payouts to a bound wallet on the Base blockchain

Available features may change as the program evolves.

3. AP Tokens and Points

  • AP tokens and community points are rewards within a community engagement program operated by Ava Protocol. They are not securities, investment products, or guaranteed instruments of any kind. They have no intrinsic monetary value outside the program.
  • Eligibility rules, point categories, monthly distributions, role thresholds (including the Ambassador promotion threshold of 250+ points for two consecutive months), and redemption mechanics are defined by program documentation and may be updated at any time at our discretion.
  • We may withhold, reverse, or revoke points or AP tokens that we determine in good faith were earned through abuse, automation, fraud, or any violation of these Terms or the Discord Terms of Service.

4. Wallet Binding and On-Chain Payouts

  • Binding a wallet via /bind-wallet is optional. You are solely responsible for the security of any wallet you bind, including its private keys and seed phrase.
  • USDC payouts are sent to your bound wallet address on the Base blockchain. On-chain transactions are irreversible. We are not responsible for funds sent to a wallet address you bound incorrectly.
  • You can remove your bound wallet at any time using /unbind-wallet.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Bot in any way that violates the Discord Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
  • Use automated scripts, alternate accounts, or any other technique to inflate points, message counts, invites, referrals, or rewards
  • Submit content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, or that you do not have the right to submit
  • Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or interfere with the operation of the Bot or its supporting infrastructure
  • Attempt to access information about other users beyond what the Bot exposes to you by design

Violations may result in revocation of points and AP tokens, removal from the Ambassador program, removal from the Ava Protocol Discord server, and other measures we deem appropriate.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Bot is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available alongside these Terms. The Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and how to exercise your rights regarding that information.

7. Modifications and Discontinuation

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Bot, or the Bot itself, at any time and without prior notice. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the Ava Protocol Discord server, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised.

8. Disclaimers

The Bot is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Bot will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that points, rewards, or payouts will be available at any particular time.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ava Protocol and its contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Bot. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Bot shall not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD 100).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Ava Protocol and its contributors harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense arising out of your violation of these Terms, your violation of the Discord Terms of Service, or your misuse of the Bot.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
