Our recent game night event was a success, surpassing our expectations. 46 visitors joined the discord server event, and over 30+ participants were actively engaged in the in-game activities. The one-hour event provided entertainment and inspired substantial discourse about Web3 Game-Fi and the potential integrations of OAK automation within our community.

Our Discord chat served as a platform for our team and community to exchange ideas during the event.

OAK Ambassadors, Shakur and Sahsa, shared some insightful and inspiring thoughts. We encourage you to take the time to read through the interview provided below:

Here is what Shakur had to say:

Q: Why did you think it was important for OAK to host a community game night?

A: For the first time in a while the whole community was doing something together irrespective of the region they come from

● Secondly, it allows the ambassadors and the team to interact with the participants and give updates about what has been going on in OAK just like what Juice was doing during the games.

And it was super fun!

Q: What was the best part of the game night?

A: The fact that the community turnout was quite large and it was our first game night shows that people are quite interested in a fun competitive activity like what we had.

In-game play got competitive during our inaugural game!

I think a lot of people will be looking forward to game night, instead of hosting let’s say a Twitter Space to update the community on what’s been going on we could also use the game night as an opportunity to not only play the game but also update everyone on the latest happening on OAK Network.

Q: What automation use case do you think is the most important for the #web3gaming ecosystem?

A: Play to earn are the latest use cases of most web3 games now. So you have to accumulate a lot of points in other to purchase in-game items like weapons, gadgets, and so on. Imagine a scenario where we can automate the rewards to automatically purchase certain items once they reach the value of it that would be super cool and an automatic way to just be ready while still playing the game.

Q: What web3 gaming projects do you think we should partner up with for our next community game night?

A: -ZkStrike of Neurolanche not only is it competitive but it’s multiple-player and super fun. Secondly, they are a new project building on Astar Network which is also an interesting project and I am very optimistic about what they are building. So yeah, ZkStrike could be an interesting addition and would also benefit us positively by the incoming of their community.

Sahsa, the lead ambassador for the event, shared the following:

Q: Why did you think it was important for OAK to host a community game night?

A: It’s an opportunity to bring the OAK community together, to have fun, to socialize. Working together makes for a friendlier community and creates synergy for the project.

WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER!

OAK’s inaugural game night was the bomb, bringing together our community and fostering engagement across regions and platforms. This event not only served as an engaging platform for the community but also shed light on the ways OAK automation could revolutionize gaming. The insights and suggestions from our members have been invaluable, and we look forward to incorporating these ideas as we plan for our next GameFi Night in May! We are grateful for the participation and enthusiasm of our community, and we can’t wait to host our next game night.
